Musashikosugi

武蔵小杉 Takeshi Kosugi is the most developed area in Kawasaki City. As of March 2021, there are 15 tower condominiums directly connected to the station. It is a popular area because of easy access to Tokyo Station and Shinjuku Station. The area around the station is a mixture of old-fashioned shopping streets and large-scale shopping malls.

Mizonokuchi

溝の口 The Mizonokuchi area is an area developed mainly for commercial purposes. There are plenty of leisure facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and movie theaters. It is particularly popular amongst millennials as it is conveniently located 20 minutes from Shibuya station in Tokyo. On the outskirts are quiet residential areas with low-rise condominiums and detached houses.

Ikuta Ryokuchi

You can enjoy the fleeting beauty of the forests of Ikuta Ryokuchi throughout the four seasons, such as cherry blossoms in spring and colored leaves in autumn. Cultural facilities such as "Taro Okamoto Museum", "Japanese Folk House Garden", and "Fujiko F Fujio Museum" are scattered in and around the park, and it is an area where you can spend a relaxing and fulfilling day.

Kawasaki Daishi

川崎大師 Kawasaki Daishi is the second most visited temple in the Kanto region. The temple is famous for its spiritual powers helping overcoming challenges and mitigating disasters. It attracts more that 3 million people during new year celebrations.
